    Bleeding Souls

    Dust and fire screams call our names,
    Brotherhood broken in bloody chains,
    Whiskey drowns the noise loses its aim,
    Demons won’t rest in the pouring rain,

    Empty bottles and shattered dreams,
    VA promises ain’t what it seems,
    Line up for help but it’s all schemes,
    Grit our teeth in silent screams.

    We’re not numbers we’re bleeding souls,
    Lost on battlefields and darkened coals,
    Not forgotten we cry out for peace,
    Help us stand up let the torment cease.
